I’ve been trying to practice my photography skills more lately. Yesterday I went over to the North Loop in Minneapolis and took some pictures. I thought I would share some of the best ones with you.
Photography is one of those things that I love to to, but don’t actually spend much time practicing. It’s so easy to pull out my phone and Instagram something, but I rarely use my DSLR camera. So I challenged myself to spend more time with my real camera. I chose to go over to the North Loop because of all of the different types of buildings and the unique textures. It used to be an industrial area of the city so there are a lot of cool painted signs on brick buildings that I wanted to shoot.
It was so hot out, I though I was going to melt. I stuck with it though and tried to capture the feeling of the heat in some of these photos. Mainly I wanted to spend more time setting up each shot, and play around with the settings on my camera. I’m pretty happy with the results. Let me know which photo is your favorite in the comments!
