Happy Sunday, everyone! I’ve been busy enjoying summer to it’s fullest. Welcome to my new series called Minneapolis Favorites. This is where I’ll share all of my current favorites in Minneapolis; everything from food and activities to secret places.
Taraccino Coffee

keepin’ it cool with an iced latte
It’s been hot and humid lately so I’ve been really into drinking iced lattes to keep cool. Taraccinos is a great place because it’s a local coffee shop in northeast Minneapolis. They have a really friendly atmosphere with comfy chairs and display local artist’s work on the walls. And more importantly, their coffee is delightful.
Spitz

Mural of Prince at Spitz
Spitz is a new Mediterranean street food place in northeast Minneapolis. They’ve got delicious wraps and sandwiches. They also make some great sangria, another great way to cool off in the heat! One of the reasons I like this place so much is for the décor. They have a Prince mural on one wall and the rest are covered in unique stenciled paintings.
Lake of the Isles

Lake of the Isles
A current obsession of mine is walking around the chain of lakes on the weekends. Specifically, Lake of the Isles. It’s just under 4 miles to walk around the whole lake and you get a fantastic view of the lake the whole time. Plus, when you’re done you can stop for a snack at the Tin Fish, a restaurant right on Lake Calhoun.
Indeed Brewing Company

Pizza on the Indeed patio
Really whatever patio I’m currently sitting on is my favorite patio. But, Indeed Brewing’s patio is definitely at the top right now. The brewery is right next to train tracks so every once in a while you get to watch a train go by and it’s not as noisy or bothersome as you might think. Personally, I think it adds some character to the place. Plus they usually have really good food trucks, that have things like pizza or grilled cheese.
Thanks for stopping by! Let me know, what are your current favorites in your city?
