Fall colors at Boom Island Park
Hello readers! I promise part 2 of my Paris trip is coming soon. In the meantime, as we close out the month of October, here are some of my Minneapolis Fall Favorites.
Fall

Fall colors at Boom Island Park

More pretty fall colors
Who doesn’t love the changing leaves? I love everything about fall- the leaves, the weather, plus all of the fall foods that you get to enjoy. Soups, Cider and pumpkin beer! Last weekend Aaron and I went for a walk in a nearby park and I got some great photos of the changing leaves. Which leads me into my next favorite:
Boom Island Park

Minneapolis skyline from Boom Island
I had forgotten just how large the park is, it follows the river through the city and there was so much to see! It was nice to just explore in nature for a while. The cool thing about Boom Island is that it gets so far back and away from the busy roads that it’s easy to forget you’re in the middle of a city. It’s nice and quiet.
Spyhouse Coffee Northeast

Spyhouse Coffee Vibes
I’ve been spending a lot of free time working on various website things, both for my career and for this blog. That means I’ve been going to a lot of coffee shops. The Spyhouse Coffee in Northeast Minneapolis is one of my favorites. The building was originally built in the 1920s for a mattress company, so it’s got a lot of old-building charm. Spyhouse specifically has antique décor that fits with the 1920s time. The coffee and pastries are delicious as well. Every time I visit it’s easy to set up my laptop and stay for hours.
Northgate Brewery’s Pumpion Beer
I have a confession to make: I love pumpkin beer! One of the best I’ve found is made by a local brewery, Northgate. They’re a British-themed brewery and they always have good beers on tap.
That’s all for now. Keep an eye out for more posts in the next few weeks. if you want to be the first to know when a new post comes out, be sure to subscribe to my emails, by clicking Here!
