Guys, it’s less than 9 months now until I get married! In case you forgot, I got engaged in a Paris park in the summer of 2016. With the wedding coming up, I’ve been thinking a lot about our Paris trip and have begun planning a stop in Paris for our honeymoon.
While reminiscing about that trip, I starting going through the photos I took. I decided I should share some more photos from the trip. Specifically of my favorite park in Paris: Parc des Buttes Chaumont.
My favorite Paris Park
Located in the 19th arrondissement of Paris (the northeast part of the city), Parc des Buttes Chaumont is 61 acres that offers a walking trail, a lake, waterfalls, bridges and the most stunning views of the city.

To get into the park you have to go through gates, and then walk up a hill. From there you can wander through the walking paths, hang out on the grass or head for the lake.

just outside of the park, there is this fountain. Plus look at the architecture of this building!

If you head to the lake, there are two bridges that’ll take you to the island on the lake, which has steep cliffs and is 50m (164 ft.) above the lake. At the summit of the island, there is a small temple-like structure that you can walk in. This is also where the best views are.

Just in case this park isn’t cool enough for you yet, it also boasts a waterfall.
If you keep walking, you can follow the water along a walking path. The water eventually ends up back in the lake!

To me, the best part about this park is how many different things there are to do and see in this park. Even in researching it for this post I found different things that we didn’t even see when we were there. And we went to this park 3 different times!
