I put together a one day in Antwerp itinerary, based on our recent trip to Antwerp. These are all based on what we did there, and what I would recommend you check out if you ever find yourself in the wonderful city of Antwerp.

Berlin was the last stop on our honeymoon adventures in Europe. Since neither of us had ever been to Germany, and neither of us speak German, I wasn’t exactly sure what to expect. I chose a week in Berlin because I knew there was a big art scene here. It was also somewhere that we could explore for the first time together. We did some touristy things and some not-so-touristy things with our week in Berlin.
When researching things to do in Berlin, I knew I wanted to do something that wasn’t super touristy, and possibly something weird and different. I came across posts about this abandoned listening station from the Cold War, which is now a trendy place for hipsters and tourists to hang out. I immediately put this at the top of my list.
Confession: Brussels is my new favorite City
When we were planning our honeymoon in Europe, we thought it would be fun to travel by train to explore a few different cities and to see the countryside in Europe. Because of it’s proximity to Paris and Germany, and the fact that they speak French there, Brussels ended up on our itinerary. So I booked us an Airbnb for 5 nights. Little did I know, what would soon be true: Brussels is my new favorite city.
Europe is so great. You can just hop on a train and get anywhere you’d like in just a few hours. We visited Ghent in one day while staying in Brussels. It was relatively easy to go to the train station on the day of and purchase our train tickets. It took about two hours via train to get to Ghent from Brussels.
If you only have a day, here are some must-visit destinations in the city of Ghent.
It wouldn’t be a proper trip to Paris if we didn’t start off with major issues. Here she the story’s of our travel struggles in Paris – We made it to the airport in Paris successfully. We even found the train we needed to get into Paris and bought our tickets from a machine with no issues, a big improvement from our first trip.
Guys, it’s less than 9 months now until I get married! In case you forgot, I got engaged in a Paris park in the summer of 2016. With the wedding coming up, I’ve been thinking a lot about our Paris trip and have begun planning a stop in Paris for our honeymoon.
While reminiscing about that trip, I starting going through the photos I took. I decided I should share some more photos from the trip. Specifically of my favorite park in Paris: Parc des Buttes Chaumont.
Back in March, Aaron and I went on an adventure to London. It was the first time we went to a different English speaking country together. London has always been near the top of my travel wish list, so it was exciting to make that dream a reality. Here’s my takeaway.
