I put together a one day in Antwerp itinerary, based on our recent trip to Antwerp. These are all based on what we did there, and what I would recommend you check out if you ever find yourself in the wonderful city of Antwerp.
Back in April, I went to visit my sister who lives in Austin, TX. Aaron, my parents and I made a long weekend of it.
Even though my sister has lived in Austin, Texas for a few years, I’d still never been to Texas before. So when I saw some cheap flights for this past April, I knew I had to go visit.Read More >>
Back in December, we snuck away for a quick weekend getaway in San Francisco. Normally we stay in an Airbnb when we travel, but since it was such a short trip, and last notice, a hotel was comparable in price. We ended up staying at the Hilton downtown, which was nice to be close to so many things. Plus, the view from our room was incredible.
The largest Chinatown outside of Asia lives in San Francisco. Experiencing the one in San Francisco feels like a vacation on its own. In fact, Chinatown draws in more tourists than the Golden Gate Bridge every year. It covers a 24 block area. Read More >>

Sometimes the best experiences on vacation are when you stumble across something that’s right up your alley. That’s what happened when we were in San Francisco. We were walking from our hotel to dinner and we saw Winter Walk, a pop up winter market.
I mean how could you not walk through this?
Winter is here and we’re all hiding inside until the sun comes back out. I wanted to share some places I’ve been frequenting lately that I thought you might want to check out. Here are my Minneapolis Favorites:
Berlin was the last stop on our honeymoon adventures in Europe. Since neither of us had ever been to Germany, and neither of us speak German, I wasn’t exactly sure what to expect. I chose a week in Berlin because I knew there was a big art scene here. It was also somewhere that we could explore for the first time together. We did some touristy things and some not-so-touristy things with our week in Berlin.
When researching things to do in Berlin, I knew I wanted to do something that wasn’t super touristy, and possibly something weird and different. I came across posts about this abandoned listening station from the Cold War, which is now a trendy place for hipsters and tourists to hang out. I immediately put this at the top of my list.
